STUDENT EXCHANGE OPPORTUNITY

An exchange student from Taiwan, who is currently attending South Garland High School, is in need of a new host family. Exchange students come in August and stay until the end of the school year. They are here to experience American high school and American life with their American host family and to improve their English (English must be spoken in the home). Volunteer host families provide a  loving home environment, room, home meals and transportation to school. Note: students come with their own spending money and are responsible for dining out, entertainment and school activity expenses. Students are also covered with their OWN health insurance. Host families can be married, single, empty nesters, and partners but must be 25 years or older, one parent must be a US citizen, and the family must not be on  government assistance. As an added note, the current host family reports that this young man is very well mannered and respectful. Interested persons can contact either the pastor or the church office for more  information. Thank you.
