"Seek ye the Lord while He may be found"

The Searchers Sunday School Class bids you welcome to St. Philip’s United Methodist Church.  We extend to you a sincere invitation to visit our class. 

In order to grow spiritually, it is very important to feel like you belong in a church.  One of the best ways to do that is by attending a Sunday School Class, where you get to know people in a small group setting. 

The Searchers Class is committed to spiritual growth and maturity through our love for Jesus Christ and our love for one another.  We are composed of approximately 12 married couples, mostly in our 40’s and 50’s.  We have a rotating teaching schedule, among the class members willing to teach.  We have very open discussions and focus on a variety of subjects, using the Bible as our source of authority. 

We, in the Searchers Class, financially support missions outside our church, as well as local outreach needs through our cash donations to these organizations.  We are able to accomplish this by sponsoring fund-raising events, such as our annual church-wide garage sale. 

We have great fun and good times in our class.  We have social events, such as annual family camping outings, the annual Christmas Progressive Dinner, dinners and shows, game parties, weekend retreats, and much, much more. 

We would love for you to come visit us.  To find our classroom, simply turn left as you enter the main entry of the church and we are located in the first room on your right.
