Sunday Activities

We offer a program for children that helps them grow spiritually in a loving and stimulating environment. We care about all children and their future, and work hard to offer the best programs and opportunities to them that we can. We teach the importance of mission work in helping others. And most importantly, we teach children that God loves them and how they can love God.

We use the Rotation Workshop model Sunday School curriculum for grades 1-5 and traditional Sunday School using Cokesbury’s Exploring Faith materials for younger children.

During the 10:30 a.m. worship service, children age 4 through 4th grade are invited to attend Children’s Church where we use the Godly Play curriculum. The children learn Bible stories told through manipulatives to bring the story to life. Follow-up activities give children the opportunity for self-expression.

Older children 5th – 8th grade have Worship Folders with materials to teach them about the Bible and how we worship.

Our newly redecorated nursery is staffed with one trained professional and an adult volunteer who is a member of the church. The nursery is available to all children age 3 and under during both Sunday School and Worship.

Sunday Evenings

On Sunday evening from September through May children are invited to attend our Children’s Choir program and Bible Club. Children Kindergarten – Second Grade and Third – Fifth grade sing in worship several times during the year and at other events. A snack supper is provided each week.

Following choir the children are invited to attend Bible Club from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. We teach worship skills, learn Bible verses and stories, and have fun!
