Teen Missions International

Short-term missions trips around the world!

www.teenmissions.org

Haydenn Moore has been accepted to go and serve with Teen Missions International in Northern Ireland, June 18 – August 6, 2016.  After an intensive two-week Boot Camp on Merritt Island, Florida where he will have classes in spiritual growth, Bible study, evangelism, music, drama, puppetry and construction, his team will depart to Northern Ireland.  They will be running Summer Schemes (VBS-type programs) for many local children in the area surrounding the host church in Belfast using God’s Word, skits, memory verses and music.  On Sundays they will share the Gospel through personal testimonies, music and puppetry in local churches and the surrounding areas.

Eilam and Jonas have been accepted to attend Peanuts Camp at Teen Missions, arriving June 18 and returning June 26, 2016. The Peanuts Program is a blend of training and actual mission experiences that will prepare them for future Teen Teams.  Peanuts will learn how to share the Gospel and will go and do just that. Eilam is on the Nehemiah’s Trusses team learning to work with hammers and nails and pour concrete.  Jonas is on the Cookie Command team and will be learning the basics of cooking.  His team will focus on making and decorating cookies. They will then take these cookies to nursing homes, police and fire stations where they will share the Gospel with the occupants while giving them yummy, love-filled treats.  Both boys will learn how to share the Gospel through personal testimonies, music, Wordless Books, and puppetry.

Haydenn, Eilam and Jonas would like to ask you to join them as Prayer Partners. Please pray for their safety, for good health, and that they will grow in their love of Jesus.  Pray for all who will hear His Word through the lives of the teams.  Please pray for their teammates and leaders, too.

Due to the large number of natural disasters around the world, TMI is in need of tools as they send 40 teams out this year.  Construction teams will help re-build hospitals, schools, orphanages, churches and homes in grief-stricken areas.  You can help by donating tools, or simply donating

pocket change that will be used to purchase Home Depot or Lowe’s gift cards.  All three boys will present the gifts in the name of SPUMC to TMI upon arrival. Gift items are needed by Sunday,

June 12.  A display is in the foyer.

Thank you for your love and support.
