Dear St Philips Family,

I am so thankful for all of you. We are busy about the Lords Work in so many ways. By the time you receive this letter we will have completed another “Light in the Night”. We will have interacted with the families in our neighborhoods and shared with them the love of Christ. We will have signed needy people up for our annual Turkey Dinner Giveaway. We will be preparing for a very busy Season of Advent. Wow! What an exciting time!

I hope you will come and meet our neighbors and share Christ. I pray you will make your entry into the Thanksgiving Season with joyful self-giving and generous outreach to others around us and abroad…remember we have sent two shipping containers this year…one to Jordan to persecuted Christians and One to Haiti to the tremendously needy people there. We are reaching our neighbors here and abroad.

One more thing I want to ask of you. This October has been a time when we have seen a lot of our members out of pocket. After a great summer we have had a slow fall. Please make your Sunday Worship and Sunday School a priority.

When you are not present you are missed. Invite a friend every chance you get. Remember, all many are waiting for is an invitation.
