Parents Night Out

Parents, need to do any last minute gift wrapping or shopping? Our Youth and Children's ministry will be hosting a Parents Night Out to help you out. Drop your children off at 6pm on Saturday December 15. We will be watching a movie and playing games. The best part? Food is provided! Children will need to be picked up at 9pm.

Want to volunteer? We need all of the volunteers we can get to make this event possible. Please contact the office at [email protected] to sign up, or Joseph and Jennifer Goodson. We would love your help!

Directory Update

Please, if you have changed you email address, phone number, dropped your land line or added cell numbers, send that information to, or hand the information to Teri Aeschbacher or I on Sunday. We have a lot of non-working numbers in the directory.

Mission Opportunities

• We are collecting winter hats, gloves, and scarves to give children. Please hang any donations on the tree outside of the sanctuary. Donations can be brought during service, or by the office.

• Our missions team will be adopting four families from Handley Elementary, to help provide Christmas gifts for their children, as these families are truly in need. We are collecting monetary donations to help cover the cost of Christmas gifts. Please send donations to St. Philip's, or bring by the office.

• Handley Elementary is in need of 20 outerwear garments, such as sweatshirts, for students. The outerwear must be navy blue, sizes small, medium, and large are needed. Sweatshirts must not have hoods.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

In Gratitude

A special word of gratitude is extended by the church to Jeanette Hobbs and the Worship Committee for their work in decorating the altar table and the sanctuary for the holiday season. The committee is to be commended for presenting the church with a festive yet meaningful arrangement.

Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have regarding involvement at St. Philip's UMC! We look forward to hearing from you!
