As you know the North TX Conference has chosen our church to participate in the Healthy Church initiative. Last week we held an informational presentation to learn about this program.

Should we choose to participate we will need 12 people to serve and help facilitate the program. The commitment is 1 Saturday meeting per month, 7 months in the year for 3 years. We will have seasonal breaks. Also, it is possible that the commitment will end sooner than 3 years based on our needs. The conference will be working with us as well.

You will receive a ballot this Sunday, August 31st. You may also vote via email, send your choice to [email protected] 

The last day to vote will be September 7th

MISSIONS UPDATE

Thank you to everyone who has brought school supplies. The principal was so happy to get your donations. We will continue collecting throughout the year so feel free to put items in the blue box anytime.

HELPERS NEEDED

We are in need of volunteers who can do tasks for those are in need. For example, light cleaning, yard work, small home repairs, etc. We have many members who are in need and we would like to connect them with someone who can  help. If you are interested please let Mary Wilkinson or Jo Mueller know.
